Well, as a result of that little nasty at the Pistons game, the pundits are weighing in on the whole anger management thing.

From where I'm sitting, it's pretty funny to hear them admit that they're wrong. And about time that they did. Like relationship counseling, anger management counseling is shaped and re-arranged according to which pundit has the most compelling argument at any given historical moment.

The only real fact we can say is absolutely true is that psychology doesn't have the answer to everything that goes on in our lives. The most accurate assesssment of psychology is to admit that it is an inexact science with answers that are panaceas cobbled from popular/cultural causative observations. Even some of Freud's and Jung's theories have gone by the wayside--theories that were formulated contingent on the observer's interactions of the scions of the bourgeoisie in one particular area of the Modern World of the Belle Epoch. And while the Center of the Civilized World has been de facto relocated to the U.S., it doesn't mean that we in the early 21st century have any better answers than they did in the late 19th century.
