In a couple of hours I'll be leaving for NJ.

My Father asked me to stay with him. I'll help him go thru things.

I'll be staying in NJ for about a week.

Which means I'll be.... Live! From Kinkos! (again)

I have packing to finish. The only thing I've decided on is my funeral clothes. And less makeup than I usually pack.

Steady Eddie will be joining me on Friday and will stay till Tuesday. I will miss him these next two days, and will miss him more when he has to go home.

Lucky Bastard called this morning. I told him about my Mom. He launched in to a load of platitudes and trite advice that I think he believes is helpful. And then let me know of the fantasy he had while in the shower.

What a dope.

I'm also going to be starting a new little meta-blog. It's a way to get the guy at the local paper blog page to list me. I'd rather not push to list this blog...and, he tends to see blogs not as much as for good writing isasmuch for dissemination of information. Apparently, what I normally do is not dissemination of information so, the meta-blog will be dissemination of information--with a sense of humor.

I'm searching for a name and have come up with the following:

Lemon Meringue Blog (yeah, I know, it's lame..but cutsie)

so, give me a bit o'feedback and tell me what y'all think. I'm doing this as a means of getting my mind off what I will be dealing with in NJ.

I'm leaning towards Spap Oop. It's the absurdity of it that might draw people in.

Okay. Time to finish packing and get going. I will be like a Buddhist Warrior--calm, yet prepared for the worst.
