Why is it that every time I have a good workout, I want to sit down and eat a Napoleon afterwards???

Because Napoleons are nature's most perfect food?
Shalom Tish and Terry,
Hmmmm? Is this a guy thing? I always thought a Hudson River Garbage Scow (deep-dish pizza with double everything) was Nature's perfect food.
B'shalom,
Jeff
CHOCOLATE (good chocolate) is nature's most perfect food.
What's a napolean?
:-)
By y'all's comments, I think the idea of a "perfect food" is definitely subjective! And varies from craving to craving. I can def. crave a "garbage" (or anchovy) pizza as much as I can crave a big horkin' pastry...it all depends on the balance of hormones moreso than the nutritional needs of the moment.
Although I'd be curious as to what balance of hormones makes me want anchovy pizza. Probably the Italian hormone....or something like that.
as for what a napoleon is, well, it's a pastry that's layers of flaky pastry with cream in between and a sugary frosting top. Sometimes the cream is chocolate, or there's chocolate drizzled on it, or if the pastry shop is creative, they'll dunk the whole thing in chocolate and call it a chocolate-covered napoleon.
oy! I'm off for a walk again...let's see what the craving ends up being today!
Cheers!
