I've been at a conference since Monday. I've got the usual Conference Brain Burnout. Lots of information to process and between all the networking and talking to people, just not a lot of time to process all of it.

Yesterday there was a panel discussing the old "is blogging a form of journalism?" connundrum, and I was a bit disappointed in the panel. There was no one on the panel who could address some of the issues going on right-this-minute with blogging and journalism. One of the panelists mentioned a canadian blogger who got arrested for taking a picture at an event--didn't know about Josh Wolfe. That was a bit worrisome.

So, I'm trying to find a way that I can address this issue and help these folks figure out what's what. The only thing I can think of doing is write a bunch of articles that might be helpful.

Right now though I have to pack and get going...I'm out of here tonight. I'd love to stay another day and just be a tourist, but that's a luxury I can't really afford right now. Maybe some day...
