Okay, so I went to see Star Wars Episode 3 this afternoon.
I went to the 3:30 show. It was the same time of day as that when I saw the first Star Wars 28 years ago.
No neat buttons this time. And, rather than going with my cousin Richard (who is now 50) and a couple of friends. I went alone.
That was fine. I cried like an idiot at the end, and I always prefer to cry alone.
I am not good with expressions of vulnerability or sentiment in front of others.
I'll probably go again. Worth sitting thru all the talky parts in the beginning for the last 1/2 hour or so at the end.
And if I go with others, at least I won't cry because I know what happens. Maybe.
