Today there is a great little entry on Blogsisters about the irony of glamorizing sex industry work. I totally agree with the writer of this piece, and am sick and tired of little rich chicks playing around in that world and then leaving without any consequences--then saying how wonderful it is. This is a polyannaish attitude born out of priviledge and will do very little to effect change in the lives of most women who work in the sex industry. The selfishness of the priviledged just makes me want to throw up.
