Koan goes in for some very important surgery today. I will be thinking of her today, and wish her the best--not just for a speedy recovery, but also the best in all the new things she will discover about herself. She's very brave.

She gets grouchy when we call her brave but damn, she is brave! I'm nervous and excited for her!
I know! but what else can we call it! Calling it a "big change" doesn't even begin to encompass all of the transformation.
