I am worried about Shane and his son Sebastian They live in New Orleans...or should the be: They lived in New Orleans...

I don't know him personally...but a couple of months back when I wrote Courting Net-oriety, he read it, left a comment, and posted
this on his blog.

Never can tell who's life you're going to touch with a blog entry.

Shane lost his job back on August 21 and wrote a little piece about it here. From what I can tell, he lost his computer access, too. Not good for a website developer.

And now this.

What can I do for someone I don't even know, but who's life I touched in some way? I sent an email a couple of days ago, hoping that they'd sail thru the hurricane and I'd hear something. But as it's got worse, I have no idea if he's at the Superdome or if he made it out to friends' outside of N.O. before the disaster struck.

There is nothing I can do all the way up here...except pray...
