After watching the Disaster of New Orleans again this morning, I checked my email and there was this note:
Just thought y'all might want to know....
Hey! I'm ALIVE! I am going to write out my story once and then forward it to everyone.. I'm just now reaching a civilized state. You won't believe the story, but I have digital video to back it all up! For now, Seb and I are safe.. we are in Lafayette LA and working towards getting setup to continue life.. I'll email you with more soon, I have so many emails to people wondering about Seb and I I'm just writing quick notes for now to let people know we are alive, and plan to continue to be so..

Glad to hear your family's safe too! We hear so much of the bad that I think our little pockets of good news makes a big difference.
