I'm Moving!

Believe it or not, I'm going to be moving soon!

I just signed an agreement for a neat little apartment in Easthampton, MA. Yes, I'll be across from a gas station, and there's a couple of bars up the street...but there's also a gallery downstairs, and a bakery, and artists' studios, and restaurants, and an ice cream place with what I understand is some pretty good coffee...

bye, drug addicts who ram into people's cars late at night...(as what happened to Steady Eddie's car just the other night)

bye bye hookers and sex offenders (yes, some live right up the street from me)

bye bad pizza joint, mini mart, and liquor superstore...

the new place may not be perfect, but at least I'll be able to walk down the street during the day. I'll be able to walk to the post office and the bank and lots of other places.

I might lose some weight from all that walking...

I'm excited about this move....even if I do have to buy a refridgerator.

Hi Everybody.... thanks so much! y'all have no idea how psyched I am about it!

oh, and we bought a refridgerator yesterday. next, a new mattress.

because we're old folks, we're taking our time to move though. In alot of ways, that's the best strategy. We're still waiting to hear if S.E.'s car's been totalled (he got a letter from the courts requesting his presence at a hearing for the woman who plowed, literally, into his car) and he's running around looking for new ones right now. Plus, I've got three events on 10/2, 10/3 and 10/4 that I want/need to attend. Trying to move everthing at our age with all that other stuff going on would probably result in one of us ending up needing xanax and the other needing a heavy-duty muscle relaxer for the aches and pains.
