I just worked myself stupid over at Snarkaholic on a post about links and linking...I've tried to squeeze down some disagreeing threads about links and linking. There's a heck of alot of discussion on it, and I think it comes down to whether or not the blogger wants a higher profile and is willing to go on a marketing campaign determined by the etiquette of the blogosophere to get those important links. The blogosphere is not a meritocracy like some would like us to believe, and if we really *do* want a voice out there, if we are interested in touching the lives of others and connecting with the wider world, we have to work to get it.

whew. I'm beat. No wonder my sex drive is nonexistent.

Tomorrow I plan to go to the beach. I will be in blog withdrawl, but I'll survive :-)
